Tilly and the Buttons Iris Knickers

Learn to sew your own undies with this multi-style knickers pattern, created in collaboration with our favourite lingerie designer Evie La Lùve. The step by step photo instructions and helpful tips make this a great project for lingerie novices.

Incredibly versatile, the mix and match sewing pattern includes a choice of low, midi and high legs and waistlines. They can be finished with fold over elastic and/or narrow stretch lace, depending on your style, making a total of 36 combinations!

A pleasure to sew, and a perfect scrap busting project, you can whip them up
on a regular sewing machine. Once you’ve made your first pair, you’ll be hooked!

SKILL LEVEL - Confident beginners

SIZE RANGE- UK 6-24 / US 2-20 / EUR 34-52 OR UK 16-34 / US 12-30 / EUR 44-62

FABRIC & SUPPLIES - Main Fabric: Light to medium weight stretch knit with 40 - 60% 4 way stretch and good recovery, such as jersey, scuba, stretch mesh, stretch velvet. Crochet lining fabric: small piece of cotton jersey, bamboo jersey or similar with natural content. 

MODEL GARMENT SIZES - Averil is wearing the UK 6-24 range (blue stripe with mid-rise & mid leg - size UK 8 graded to 6 at the waist and black graphic with low rise & high leg - size UK 8). Melody is modelling the UK 16-34 range (pink with mid rise & low leg -  size UK 32 graded to a 28 waist and black floral with high rise & mid leg - size size UK 32 graded to a 28 waist).
